Privacy

Real Size Ruler is built to work without collecting personal information.

What stays on your device

• Your calibration (pixels per millimetre, method and screen size).
• Your preferences: unit, visible ruler edges, tools and theme.

These are kept in your browser’s local storage and are never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.

Screen information

Auto-Detect reads your screen resolution, pixel ratio and browser platform inside your browser to suggest a matching device. This happens locally and isn’t transmitted.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
